Campagnolo - Campagnolo Chorus EPS V2 11x Electronic Groupset

Campagnolo Chorus EPS V2 11x Electronic Groupset

For the legions of fans and owners of Campagnolo Chorus, made famous for its quality and performance characteristics in mechanical shifting, there is now anelectronic alternative that will come to represent the same fantastic functionality as its mechanic predecessor.

Introducing Chorus EPS, the newest electronic groupset from the iconic Italian cycling company founded by Tullio Campagnolo.
Campagnolo is dedicated to producing the finest and most performance based solutions for cyclists of all types of cyclists.
The goal of Campagnolo is not to decide for a given athlete if he or she should choose mechanic or electronic, nor does it intend to take a stance in the mechanic vs electronic debate.
EPS and mechanical drivetrains represent two different options to achieve the same goal: fantastic and race-winning transmission performance.
This being said it seems fitting that such a successful groupset as Chorus be available also to those who choose to ride an electronic transmission.

The Campagnolo Chorus EPS groupset takes a great deal of its DNA from its mechanical counterpart as it represents a more accessible version of Campagnolo performance, quality and attention to detail but delivers it in the laser-like precision package of an EPS drivetrain.
Those who appreciate the fantastic ergonomics of the mechanical version will appreciate the similar ergopower but also love the improved placement of the thumb shifting levers even more accessible no matter the position of your hands.
Carbon brake levers offer a sophisticated look, maximum rigidity and limited weight just as with the mechanical version.

The Chorus EPS boasts an internal EPS V2 power unit which makes for a beautiful build with all of the advantages of electronic shifting minus any visible extra hardware.
The internal power unit also improves system integrity with the EPS processor and power unit safely tucked away from possible impact or contamination from outside elements.

The shifting performance of the Chorus EPS groupset is exactly the same as its lighter weight siblings,Record and Super Record, making for a transmission fit for professional racing. Its extremely powerful motors are capable of producing levels of torque without rival in electronic shifting which guarantee precise and effective shifting no matter the conditions or circumstances. Shifting even under heavy load is no problem for the Chorus EPS transmission and mud, grime and debris have met their match against such powerful motors.
With an IP67 waterproof rating on the entire system rain gear is only necessary for the cyclist, not his groupset.

Perhaps the most visually striking aspect of the newcomer to the EPS lineup presents itself in the form of anall new crankset. A completely new design, the Chorus EPS crankset represents increased rigidity as well as fresh and cutting edge aesthetics.
The new crankset uses a 4 arm spider design which makes for one single crankarm for all chainring options thanks to a unified bolt pattern. Gone are the days of having a dedicated bolt pattern for standard chainrings and another for compact rings and no longer will changing from traditional to compact, or vice versa, translate into the obligatory purchase of a completely new crankset.

The new bolt pattern allows for all 3 chainring standards 53/39, 52/36 and 50/34 to be built upon the same crankset. Changing between compact and standard is now as easy as changing 8 bolts and two chainrings.
While the new 4-arm bolt pattern makes for a much more practical design that offers the cyclist a more versatile component, the Campy Tech Lab was dedicated primarily on increasing performance characteristics.

The new design incorporates a 8 bolt pattern with a spider arm design that not only holds the chainring in place by way of the bolt but also supports the chainring and in doing so, increases system rigidity.
In addition to completely redesigning the spider, Campagnolo engineers dedicated a great deal of energy towards a completely new crankarm that is a great dealstiffer than previous versions. Add this new highly rigid crankarm to the new four-arm spider design and you have a complete crankset that not only excels at transferring power more than any previous version but one that is also more versatile with respect to gearing.

The newest version of the Chorus crankset will be available in 170, 172,5 and 175 crankarm legths as well as in all three chainring configurations 50/34, 52/36 and 53/39 .

Note: All EPS groups comprise of, Rear mech, front mech, Ergopower levers, cassette, chain, chainsetb/b cupsbrakes, power unit, interface, charger and all standard cables.

Please state groupset options (above) in the message box at the end of the order.

Some cassettes, bottom brackets and band-on mechs will affect prices!
